Rosenbaum's Landscaping and Nursery is a family owned company that began in 1982 with a dream. Along with that dream was the dedication, determination and desire to provide quality professional landscaping services with a high level of customer service. The Company specializes in creative landscape designs involving the use of stone, brick, waterscape, plant material and lawn installation.

Scott Rosenbaum, President, grew up on a small 5.5-acre farmette in Nyesville and received his first experience with landscaping working with his father, Phil, around the home. He learned early to do it right the first time and it will save you money down the road. Growing up in Nyesville he learned a strong work ethic and values from his parents. Bonnie, his mother, told him to: "Treat people the way you want to be treated, give more than people expect and they will come back" and "If you want it bad enough and you work hard, you can achieve anything".

At the age of 14, Scott worked at a small garden center while taking Landscaping and Horticulture courses. After graduation he interned at Country Market Landscape and honed his skills in: Greenhouse Production, Sales, Hardscaping and Landscape Design. He continued his on-going education with courses at Penn State University.

Rosenbaum's Landscaping and Nursery started with a truck, a rototiller, lawnmower, a few tools and a dream to succeed. With these humble beginnings and the desire to provide professional full- service lawn care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance, the company grew steadily over the years as a result of its high quality work and a penchant for good customer service. In 1988 a nursery was added on three acres of land and by 1998 was moved to a new 30-acre location which houses shade, ornamental, evergreen, broadleaf trees and perennials.
